What truly drives impactful creative work is the blend of design excellence and strategic purpose. My journey as an artist has been very rewarding. While I find satisfaction in mastering the technical aspects of my craft, it's the world of artistry and design that truly captures my passion. As a creative designer with over 15 years of experience in the industry, I've spent over a decade mentoring artists and creating designs for the companies and clients I've served. My passion for art and design, along with my passion for developing others, has led me to work with some of the top brands in the world, as well as startups and universities, creating unique and memorable designs with amazing creatives that stand out from the rest. ​
Background
I am a creative professional who has focused my career on leveraging design and data to achieve strategic goals across various sectors. I have had the privilege of building and leading successful large-scale design teams, both nationally and internationally. My focus has always been on fostering collaboration, nurturing emerging talent, and implementing efficient systems that lead to measurable success.
I actively share my expertise and commitment to learning by contributing as a subject matter expert. I've shared insights with Adobe as a member of their 2023 Business Advisory Board and currently serve on advisory committee at various design institutions. My dedication to service extends to local and international volunteer roles, including mentoring youth as a Big Sister.
I'm currently pursuing a career transition into higher education. I actively serve on the Graphic Arts & Media Technology Advisory Committee at Truckee Meadows Community College, where I also teach as a part-time instructor. This hands-on experience allows me to mentor the next generation of designers and contribute directly to curriculum relevancy. I'm excited to shift paths in applying my strategic expertise to fostering student success and shaping the future of creative talent in higher education while still taking on freelance clients.
